Hundreds of Cebuanos received assistance and capital from the office of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano through the Presyo-Trabaho-Kita/Kaayusan (PTK) program. Serena Rosel, a market vendor and PTK beneficiary, shared how the capital she received helped sustain her family during difficult times, including the passing of her husband.
The PTK program aims to strengthen vulnerable sectors in the country, and a team from Cayetano’s office collaborated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to provide assistance to over 400 individuals in Cebu.
The distribution of aid took place in different municipalities, with support from local officials and organizations. The assistance has brought hope and relief to market traders, persons with disabilities, and other affected individuals, helping them recover from the impacts of the pandemic and calamities.
